  • I was discharge from bankruptcy chapter 13 in march of 2013. the main purpose was to keep my home which I owed $1,300. at the time of my bankruptcy in 2009 I had quantum servicing as my servicer. and as 8-2013 I have statebridge. they say that I am behind on my payments as of 1-2012 because thats how quantum gave them my account. my trustee paid quantum in 2010 the $1,300 how can they say I owe money. I have been trying to get a hold of quantum to have them explain the situation with no luck. now im in foreclosure again. I know something illegal is going on with the servicing companies,but I

  • Hi last weekend our toilet in our rental wouldn't flush and water backed up into tub took toilet up to see what was maybe stuck in toilet. landlord was not happy I did that. now this evening our second bathroom stopped flushing and water backed up into bathtub. is this my responsibilty to fix as a tenant or is it my landlords rrsponsibilty ?
  • New tenant been here for almost two months. Ac is on roof. The morning after i got key to apartment the roof tile where the ac unit is collapsed because of the drain was not working so the comdensation leaked and made the roof tile collapse. Next day they came to fix. About 3 weeks later ac quit blowing cold and needed more freon. Now maybe another 3 weeks the roof tile collapsed again, the ac drain is not operating and ac is not blowing cold. The water the ac is leaking has a yellow tint to it. From what ive researched thats an indication of the freon leaking inside the dwelling.moretoadd!
  • Who is responsible to repair leaking pipes inside the ceiling between two condo units? HOA or condo owner? My understanding of condo ownership is that each owner owns the air space inside the unit. Anything beyond is undivided interest owned by all the owners and the HOA.
  • Is a landlord required to send a written notice, when the landlord wants to move back into their home? In this case my daughter was notified by phone and no written notices received.
