  • I am not sure if this is the correct category but. Here it goes. I moved into a house with a shared well for 5 properties. One house is not built still. When w moved in we were paying into the well fund. We wanted to see the account and they refused so we stopped paying. We asked the neighbors and they said not to because no one was and when the current well fund was gone we would start a new one. The other three houses lived there for 3 years before us. When the now well fund was started they said we owed back payments for 30 months at 50 a month. I did pay 800 of it

  • I'm looking for some guidance regarding the AZ Real Estate Recovery Fund. I submitted a claim against the fund some time ago but it was denied for multiple reasons, all of which were inaccurate. I'd like some advice from somebody with experience with getting reimbursement from the fund. The basis of my claim is the fact that my property manager embezzled security deposits and when his scam ran its course, he committed suicide. The fund is clearly setup to help those who have been a victim of real estate fraud, but the commissioner weaseled her way out of my claim on technicalities.
  • I am buying a house and the tenant doesn't want to get out of the house. She doesn't have a contract, they are going month to month. and she told the landlord that she was going to move out whenever she wanted. how long would it take to get her out?
  • I have lived /owed my condo for 13 years and yes, it's a HOA issue. My HOA has had judgements and liens against several units, both owned by past directors. A new board member purchased them at very awesome price, no one else knew they were for sale, no notice. The " Management Company " said that even though the HOA put those liens/judgements in place, it's still up to the previous to pay back the HOA.   • My landlord turned off the air conditioning between Nov 2014 and March 2015. The ac is controlled per bldg. I read ARS 33-1364 and spoke to two different people at Neighborhood services. Both stated the management company violated the law because it is not stated in the lease that the ac will be cut off between Dates A & B. I am going to try to resolve this with them but I would like to ensure I am on solid ground.
  • My Father passed away on 9/2/15, he did not have a will so the paperwork has been submitted to probate. He had a room mate that lived there for 3 years and never paid rent. Now the Air conditioning is broken and he wants me to fix it, am I legally responsible to fix this?
