I own my mobile home in a 55+ park; the park wants to buy my unit with a down payment and then payments for x number of years. They are then selling it, now, to a buyer. How does this work with my title? Do I become a lien holder to the park who is buying?

My daughters biological father has not seen her in over 18 months and has not reached out at all. He lives in New Jersey. My husband has been in her life and a full time dad for over 2 years. How would we go about terminating parental rights if the biological father is not on the birth certificate and has not been involved with her at all? My husband would love to adopt her, but I don’t know how to go about it.

Im rent an apartment for my son who is in school. His normal electric bill has been 54-59 dollars a month. His AC started having problems and the apartments handyman looked at it and said it was fine but in 2 1/2 months he ran up an $892.00 eletric bill. The manager finaly had a real repair man in and fixed it. Now the bill is back to normal. But they refuse to pay the bill. They just continue to tell us they dont reinburse for electrical. I cant pay the bill all at one time and now the electric company said they are going to turn off the power if not paid in full by June 29th. What can I do??

Can a landlord charge a non-refundable security deposit?

Is a landlord still allowed to charge you full amount of rent if needing to leave the home for more than 1/2 month to fix mold found in walls? I’ve heard that they can however they are responsible for providing you a place to live in while the repairs are being made is that true? Or can a tenant use some of the rent money to provide housing while property is being fixed if landlord refuses to pay for housing. Please help!!

I recently found out that I am the bio-logical father of a 14 year old daughter who has been adopted. I never knew until June 2011 that I was this child’s father. What rights do I have since this was done without my knowledge? This was actually done in Colorado but I reside in Arizona. I do not want to up-root my child from her adoptive family as she has been with them for 6 years but I would like to met her and let her know that I did not abandon her and I am here for her if she wants to get to know me.
