QUESTIONS

  • I paid two weeks rent at a week to week rental property. (I have receipt) Lease is verbal and is based on a publicly posted advertisement. IIt was agreed that deposit and rest of monthly rent would be paid in cash in 13 days. I left a check to show good faith and landlord agreed to not cash check. I went to house the next day and was told I was evicted and landlord would not honor our agreement. I was not given any written notice. This has cost me hundreds of dollars in hotel room costs as well as otherother costs not anticipated. What should I do?
  • My family and I are moving from out of state to Arizona. Upon move in, we discovered the house AC was broken. Other repairs were not complete on the house - blinds not installed, shower doesn't work. We have had to pay to stay in a hotel for multiple nights. The property managers are not helpful and do not feel our case is urgent.
