Although I have guardianship of my young nephew and my wife and I have established ourselves as loco parents. My sister now is in custody of him. (she established herself as a stable loving capable mother) However she has moved in a boyfriend who has established himself as "Daddy" and is now refusing to allow my wife, me nor his maternal grandmother to visit with us. Do I have any enforcible visitation rights as his guardian?

I am seeking to obtain temporary emergency orders. I understand I need to file a summons, complaint (petition) and request for temp.orders....however I'm not sure once those are filed what I need to do. Are there additional forms required?

I just moved into a house that i am renting. I received my first gas and water bill witch were outrageous prices. After calling the water and gas company we discovered that there was a leak under the house. They discovered that the remodel was done improperly breaking on of the pipes. He fixed the issue in a matter of days. But i feel that i should not have to pay the water or gas bill. He is refusing to pay them. Is there anything I can do?

Hello I have allowed my friend to move in on a temporary basis while she locates permanent housing without accepting rent. I am the legal owner of the home, no signed rental agreeement but verbally and through text initially agreed to 3 month minimum time. Can I evict sooner if so how? What are my rights as the owner.

If i entered into a lease agreement to rent with free utilities is my landlord allowed to enter my home and install a locked cover on my air conditionong/central air monitor/control box and set it for 75 degrees leaving me with no way to adjust temperature?

I work for a group home w/disabled adults. One of the clients received an I-Pad and the manager of the home wants us to sign a form that states if it ends up missing during your shift, the entire staff will be terminated. Is this even legal. I have not signed it as of yet.
