QUESTIONS

  • I am retired military and was retired medically in 2013. I was active duty 91-94 and national guard time the remainder of the time. I was injured in combat in 2007 and later received an active medical retirement. I do receive some of my compensation from va with the remainder coming from DOD. My spouse who i married in 1999 is wanting my military retirement but it seems im the one with medical issues for life and just doesnt seem to be right. I havent found anything specific to medical retirements and am looking for guidance. Thank you
  • I have been renting from a management group for 3 years. The past year and a half getting them to fix things takes weeks sometimes months. I had my glass of my patio door fall halfway out 3x. I had water leaks where it took weeks to get there and they didn't clean up water and now I have mold. They took off my lock off patio and never put on. Safety latch for pool was taken off. I have kids. My pool took a month and a half to get fixed was green where you can't see bottom. I have documentation and emails and photos. I finally had enough gave notice to move. They said no. What can I do?

  • The AZ Landlord and Tenant Act states that a landlord must supply reasonable amounts of hot water, heating, and air conditioning or cooling. As far as air conditioning goes what is a reasonable amount? Is it a specific temp that your unit should be able to maintain? My unit in the evenings sometimes reach 83-84 degrees. Others in the complex said they have the same issue. We have a chilled water system, and we believe they just need to turn the temperature down on the system. But they say that the water temp is at the correct temp.
  • I recently had to go to court over child support/arrears. I was ordered to pay more than i can afford and I'm a 100% disabled medical veteran who only receives that money alone. The court told me that I would have to send in the money and they would not be able to take it from me. I have only 3 months left until my child turns 18 and the child support turns into only arrears. I am willing to pay something, but i cannot afford what they told me to. I need all the information for my state laws that can either help me in the best possible solution. i have read where some never pay after disability.

  • Hello, my son has a child with an ex girlfriend. 3 months ago the ex g/f dropped the child off with my son with no clothes,an extremely filthy diaper,no food, no toys,no bottle/sippy cup. nothing. my son is unable to care for him as my grandson has several serious medical issues steming from being born with only one enlarged kidney. My son has asked my husband and myself to take permanent custody of him since we can provide care, love and health insurance to have him medically taken care of. is this possible since there is no way to contact the childs mom? she has not been seen in 3 months
  • Is it legal for the property manager to charge potential tenants an application fee then deny them from taking over the lease and then use the application fees or credit a tenants account?
