QUESTIONS

  • As a tenant of a home there are several repairs that are needed on the home from the beginning all but two repairs re listed on the move-in-inspection report and submitted now after a 10 months still no repair what is my next step.

  • We have submitted a notice to move out at the end of next month and already have signed a lease for a new house. The landlord wanta to put the house on the market beginning next month. My question is, with this Covid 19 crisis I don't feel comfortable with people coming in and out of my house meanwhile I am still living here, especially since I am a nurse and have to go to work and be around elderly people. Is there any safety measures in place for me? Whether it be future tenants wearing a mask before entering or the landlord having to wait till we move out to show the house?
  • I am renting a apartment that was once a motel room. From a realtor who im assuming is the landlord. For $450 a month. My question is can she evict me for things that WERE NOT mentioned to me or given to me in a form of a "lease or rental agreement". She is trying to evict me for trash that i supposedly had outside my unit. When in fact the day i moved in there was a huge pile of trash bags next to my unit there was no dumpster provided and no mail box even till this day. The 25 of November 2018. Other tenets have there electricity through her i dont and have no power what can i do.

  • How do I change a custody agreement so that I now have full custody as my ex-husband is no longer fit to have full custody? I had issues with depression and alcohol so he has full custody now and I’m supposed to just have supervised visits but we are reconciling and live together with the kids. I have since turned myself around completely and am sober and managing my depression. He is unfortunately in a constant state of relapse currently and repeatedly being taken to a hospital or treatment facility. He is the one working and making money but I take care of the kids 24/7.
  • I need a paper stating I completed community service from the courts to be placed on my s/o lease and was wondering how I go about getting that paperwork? and I have to have it signed by someone as well.Where would I be able to get proof if the court is my only option for where to get it?
