Question: My spouse filed for a divorce in Pima County, we both reside in Pinal County, what steps do I need to take get a change of venue to Pinal County?
Answer: You will need to file a Motion for Change of Venue with the Pima County Court. The filing fee is $81. You will also need to file the appearence fee of $191 if you have not done so already. There will also be a transfer fee to have the case moved to Pinal County. It is uncertain how long it will take to transfer the case. It depends on the judge's calendar. Contact the Pima County clerk of court at 520-740-3210 for any additional questions.
