QUESTIONS

  • Is the landlord of the mobile home park legally supposed to tell all the tenants if there is construction going on that will mess with the water supply? Our landlord rarely if ever tells us when there is construction expected and our water will be shut off without prior notice. Isnt there a law against that or something?
  • Purchased 2 timeshares in late 90's, which worked well for family at the time and both are paid off in full and current with fees. Life changes, health changes, it no longer works. Have researched to find possible resolution to cancel/terminate contract and have found nothing but SCAMS! Granted, it wasn't the brightest idea to purchase but let's claim it a "lesson learned". I now am trying to educate myself on the law and it's been pretty difficult finding answers and people I can trust or those who do "timeshares". Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  • If the Landlord issues a 10 day non-compliance letter, and the tenant has already sent a letter stating they are breaking the lease and leaving one month early, can the Landlord still hold tenant responsible for the last month of rent, if tenant cannot remedy the non-compliance issues in 10 days and has to move out?

I put the landlord on notice and he had the pool drained and treated two days later. He has threatened me repeatedly out of retaliation for complaining about the pool. Can I terminate the lease because of his repeated threats?

  • I have owned my mobile home since I purchased it with cash in 1996 and have resided in the same mobile park where I rent the land since that time as well. The landlord has now changed the rules and no longer allows pets. I am wondering if this is legal considering I own my home and just rent the land. ord should have no say in the matter. I am wondering though if it is legal for the park to tell me what I can do in my own home as far as having a pet. Thank you.
