  • The lease for my apartment ended on the 31st of the month. The office assistance told me to turn in my key on the 1st before 5pm. I did as told when I turned in the key on 1st at 3pm they said i will be charged for additional month’s rent due to the extra day i stayed in the apartment not charged for the one day but charged a whole extra $699 rent. They implied that i should have turned the key in the drop box before the office opened and were “sorry” for mis-communication. They directly told me the 1st before 5pm.
  • The mobile home I rent was severely damaged in a monsoon storm back in May of this year. The entire roof was ripped off and in some areas (my bedroom ) I was able to see the sky! It took a little over a week before they had someone come START repairs. During the wait the rain continued. My roof was repaired However, the water damage in the inner ceiling has not. My ceiling is caving in and the mold in my bathroom is visible . The manager is NEVER in the office and I don’t know how to get them to repair it. My rent and utilities continue to be paid in full each month some help please
  • We owe a nursing care facility 10,000 dollars. I have been sending them 20.00a month. I received a letter from them with a check for the payments I made. They are refusing my payments because they are saying the payments are too low. This is all I can afford to send. Are they legally allowed to refuse these payments? Thank You
  • I hired into a company through a temp agency, this company hires only the white people into their company and puts all of the blacks in a separate room, and they also take jobs from black to give to whites and omit the deficult parts to make easy for them, but would not do this for the blacks, what is my recourse.
  • My landlord mislead me about the pool having a black stain in the deepest part. The "stain" turned out to be black algae and it spread throughout the pool. I put the landlord on notice and he had the pool drained and treated two days later. However, when I asked him when the pool maintenance would resume, he went crazy and said he was going to evict me and charge me for all of his expenses in repairing the pool. He has threatened me repeatedly out of retaliation for complaining about the pool. Can I terminate the lease because of his repeated threats?
