Can a company not pay overtime (over 40 hrs a wk)if they are a courier company and the employee is paid a hourly wage instead of per package? How does that work?

After foreclosure involving a single family residence the new owner filed an unlawful detainer action against the tenants who had no rental agreement after serving them with a 90 day notice to quit. The tenants refuse to move and have not paid rent.They only had a month to month oral agreement with the former owner. One of the tenants claims that he is on parole and cannot be evicted. My wife and 3 children have been renting a home in mesa for a year now. What does 2nd degree trafficing stolen property mean?

I was recently in a relationship with a guy who was verbally and emotionally abusive. We were living together for about 3 months and he was always yelling at me and I was getting very scared. After he held me inside our apartment and refused to let me leave I finally got out and moved out. I tried to keep things civil. He moved to out of state but he says he will come back. He calls the house I am staying at several times a day.  He breaks into my emails and talks to my friends. He threatens me and he gets very angry at times and calls me and says he will do stuff to me and he will do stuff to my friends . I was wondering what I could do. I am very stressed out and scared and I feel like it is getting worse and I need a solution. I looked up about an order of protection but Im not sure where to go and how to do it. Id like to stop him from contacting me, my family, and my friends. I feel that he may be emotionally unstable and have issues that could turn to violence. He says he is coming back to Arizona and I just want to protect myself, my family, and my friends.

I have a parental relationship with a 21 year old who's mother is deceased. We would like it if I could adopt him legally to solidify the family relationship, my children, this person and myself have discussed it in depth. Is this a possibility in Arizona?

My mother passed away 5 yrs ago. Estate has never been settled in probate or anything. My sister moved her son into the home that was willed to us. He pays her the mortgage payment and she makes sure everything is paid. Home is still in deceased mothers name. We had verbal agreement that he would also pay me $200 a month and isnt paying anymore. I want to settle in court due to no executor of estate. My sister assumed executor but refuses to settle. I want her to buy me out and I will sign off on estate and she can do what she wants. What can I do???
