  • If your vehicle is repo'd, can they keep or charge you for your belongings that were in the vehicle?
  • We are being evicted, our landlord served us three papers, each of which stated a different reason for eviction, loudness, smoking, non-payment of rent etc. Do her statements have to be consistent with one another? If so, can I use her inconsistency as a defence in court?
  • what are the fathers rights if not married?
  • I am curious about the 90 day requirement to file a lawsuit for a deficiency on a foreclosed home. In my case, I had a purchase money loan and a second mortgage from the same lender. After the foreclosure, the lender has continued to keep the second mortgage in an "open" status. Is the lender barred from suing on the second mortgage past 90 days of foreclosure or do they have up to the 6 year AZ statute of limitations to sue?
  • I recently had to get an Injunction Against Harassment against someone. They set a court date to contest it. I went to court, but the defendant never showed up. The Injunction is still in place. Can the defendant ask for another court date or legally contest it again. They were notified of the court date, since they requested it, so the court labeled them as "did not appear and had notification of the hearing date and time". This has been a very stressful ordeal. I want to know if I can breathe again or if I can expect to have to go to court again if the defendant requests it.
  • I live in an RV park where we own our park model. The owner of the park, without anything in writing, is saying “In order to sell any potential buyer must live in the park for 30 days first.” Is this legal? They are causing the sellers to lose buyers because of this unwritten rule. We’ve not been given prior notice or reason why they are doing this. I would appreciate any help you can give. Thank you.
  • My ex husband commuted domestic violence against me, got charged with a felony false imprisonment charge, was put on probation and got ordered supervised visits through family court, his mom was the supervisor and he gave up visitations and didn’t contact us or go to court for close to two years, all of a sudden he wants 50/50 custody I got awarded sole legal decision making and he was re arrested for assault on a new girl friend but charges were dropped, will the court give more than supervised visits back?
  • Our lease terms in the middle of the month and we will not be renewing. We paid a prorated amount when we moved in because we occupied the home half the month, our property manager is stating that our last months rent must be paid in full even though the lease terms in the middle of the month so we will not be living in the home. Our lease does not specify anything on last months rent
  • Unemployment is attempting to collect almost $5000 in overpayments that they claim to have paid me from as far back as 5 years ago. I don't have documentation from that far back. The amt. started out at about $600. I disputed that and then they did some kind of audit. Now they claim I owe them $5000! What do I do?
