  • So my apartment doesn't have heat and I have a little baby. This morning it was cold so I decided to turn on the heat and then I noticed there isn't any heat. Talked to thr neighbors and they said none of the apartments did. Is it the apartments responsibility to have a heater in the apartment? It's getting colder and I worry about my baby.
  • My apartment is flooded from a leak in the roof. They had someone here earlier to try and locate the problem, but now the floor is saturated(carpet and the paint is bulging on the ceiling and the wall from water underneath. Can I move into other housing until it's repaired? They didn't even bring a fan over, and its getting wetter and wetter, I'm afraid that mold will start growing because It is very hot here, perfect for growing mold in wet plaster.

  • I have lived with my brother for 2 yrs.I went out of town for the wknd,and he texted me that he wants me out,has changed the locks and refuses me access to get my belongings. There was never any written or oral contract for rent though I have given him money and have paid for repairs to the home. Can he lock me out because he feels I've disrespected him? He's also threatened me with police action if I go on the property. After I have cooked,cleaned and maintained his home what can I do?
  • I am divorced and my ex left AZ after. My children are with me but he still has partial custody. He has not contacted or seen the children in 3+yrs. No card, call or anything. My current husband would like to legally become their father. I have no idea where my ex is or how to even contact him. I have an agency searching for him for non payment of child support and they cannot even find him! Could you tell me how to dissolve his rights as father so that my current husband can make them his kids since that is who they call dad. I also want his rights taken away because if anything were to happen to me I don't want him to be able to come in and take them because they wouldn't know him or feel safe with him because of past events.
  • I was applying for a house, and found that I had a bill from a former apartment complex on my credit report that I was never given notice of. The apartment complex has never tried to contact me, and now it is in collections. I lived in this apart. over 3 years ago. Don't they have to give me some sort of documentation to tell me I had an outstanding charge? Now that it is in collections the apart complex wont talk to me. do they need proof?

  • My mother-in-law lives in some apts. in Oro Valley. The new management wants to rwpkace the carpet in her apt and told her they want her to move her furniture out and find a place to store it until they aee finished. Isn't it the responsibility of the management to cover the expenses and labor for this?
