  • If the biological father pay for childcare costs only, does that give him the right to claim our child on federal taxes? (we have no court orders established)
  • I have not received child support for the last three months. The Obligor told me he had gotten a new job. What actions can I take to ensure the child support is being paid?
  • Why am I forced by my employer to pay for online Arizona lottery tickets that customers refuse to pay for when they claim the tickets were not how they asked them to be. I am now even being threatened with being fired if the lottery sales numbers are off! My paycheck has been garnished twice for this and all employees are harrased over this idiotic lottery policy and paranoid with making a wrong register key slip because regardless of actual money lost or just essentially an overring it is Always the same ,lottery number being short real or not, we pay. Is this Legal??
  • My ex has sole custody of my 17 year old daughter. In November 2010, my daughter spent 2 weeks in residential treatment for cutting. When my daughter was discharged from treatment, it was recommended she participate in more treatment, my ex is not following thru with this. My daughter sounds they way she did whenshe was cutting, I am worried w/o treatment she will hurt herself. Can I file for emergency custody? Called CPS but they are not sure if they will bebable to respond timely. Can I file the one where my ex is not served? Not sure if the situation meets the criteria for that?
  • My ex-husband just got arrested for an extreme DUI. We have gone through mediation in the past and he agreed to "conditional sole custody" but now disputes it. How would I go about getting sole custody with supervised visitation? Do I need to go through mediation again or do I go straight to a hearing?
  • Can a 17 year old change their last name without parental consent?
  • I currently receive my deceased spouses SS benefits, am I also eligible to receive some of my benefits when I retired?
  • I am renting a condo with a washing machine and dryer. The washing machine and dryer have only worked 6 out of the 9 months of my lease. The landlord replaced the appliances a few months ago, but they are now malfunctioning and flooding my kitchen when I try and do a load of laundry. A tech has been out twice to look at it, and claims there is no problem. I have asked the landlord for a break in rent this month due to the aggravation, as well as the fact that I am paying for a condo unit with a working washer and dryer. I can't get a response from my landlord or the realty company.
  • What is the price of a name change? I have 3 minor children and want their last names to be the same as mine, what all do I have to do and how much will it cost me?
  • Ok thank you for this opportunity to ask a question. To add a parking spot covered that is a extra $15 or so a month. Can the landlord demand a new lease with the parking option? We don't want to start a whole new lease and that shouldn't be allowed it doesn't seem fair. The spots are always available they are not a high demand option
