My daughter will be 5 in August of this year. There is no father on her burth certificate, and the biological father has never been in contact. I married when she was a year old and her step father has been her father. I want to change her name to her step fathers name. He is thr only father she has ever known ad rhey love each other dearly.

FIRST he wouldn't even clean up around his house having guns swords medical marijuana tools all laying around and just filth.. he started to get better & we started working on visitation and then again became abusive so I stopped them.. gone back & forth like this.. puts the child in danger, self medicates, DUI, physically financially verbally threatening, I need help

My father has cancer and I had submited an FMLA with my employer. They had approved the FMLA. I was required to submit my hours of FMLA used to HR. I have no problem submitting the hours of FMLA used but my problem is when other employees who are on FMLA is not submitting the hours weekly and was not being tracked like I am, shouldnt that fall under Discrimination under FMLA? I think that most of the HR personnel are only there to help the employer but not the employees.Dept labor should enforce that the HR employees should come from a 3rd party that will ensure everyone is treated fairly.

my husband & i filed for legal separation in 2001. we reconciled in 04/2003 and lived together as husband & wife in arizona until end end of september 2006. he has filed for a dissolution of marriage, according to arizona law, are the terms of the 2001 legal separation still valid?

My father in law had a stroke in April of 2013 and has been unable to pay his credit card debts including a home equity line of credit through State Farm. He owns a home here here in Phx but has since been relocated to be with other family members in Napa, Ca. in a group home. He receives his usual SS benefits and a small pension of $120 per month, he is also getting his aid and attendance from the V.A. The problem is this, all of his benefits go to his care and he is unable to pay his credit card debts. Since he is no longer living here we are paying his house payment along with the State Farm home equity line of credit since that is like a second mortgage I believe. My question is how do we keep the house in the family and eliminate his credit card debt? which is probably around $20,000. The house doesn't have any equity in it or if it does, it's not much. For the last 8 years I have been paying my landlord cash. I did fall a little behind and was making payments. I never kept track and now he says I am 6 months behind and gives a hand written payment sheet for the last 2 years. He wants about $7000.00 he never gives me receipts and wants cash. I have had to go buy all new appliances because when something breaks down he repairs them and they don't last. There is also a lot of problems (unsafe) we have told him about and he does not repair. Can he legally evict us or take us to court.

My power was recently turned off my APS without any notice. This was a discrepancy in billing due to an error on their side. I had no idea there was even an issue. According to them I needed to make a deposit payment to a separate account that I was not aware of. The person who set up the account did not notify me of this and made an error inputting the deposit amount. My dog was in out house with no AC while we were working and it was 105 degrees outside. I was wondering if it is legal for them to turn off our power when it is over 100 degrees without any notice.

I've been handling my divorce on my own. So far I've found all the forms online. Now I've run into a wall, I can't find where to download the forms, that will get me subpoenas, or tell me how/where to get em. If anyone can help with this, I'd be very grateful.

I'm pregnant and don't wish to keep the baby. I'm back in school trying to get my life on track for my son who I already am raising. Abortion is not an option. My question is 2 parts: 1). Is it possible to relinquish my parental rights to the father (who is older and stable) once the baby is born if all parties are in agreement? 2). If a close family friend and her husband want to adopt the baby, can I and the father relinquish rights to them if we all are in agreement? We all want the outcome to be the best for the baby and parent(s) to ensure healthy attachment at birth. Thank you
