QUESTIONS

  • Our apartment has been flooded over 5 times in the last year and half. The management continues to tell us they are fixing the problem, yet nothing has changed and we continue to suffer. We feel they are neglecting the problem. What kind of legal action can we take?
  • I own the house and live out of state and my mother is going to court to do the eviction. Is there a form I need to give her that gives her the ok to be there in my place?
  • Ok thank you for this opportunity to ask a question. To add a parking spot covered that is a extra $15 or so a month. Can the landlord demand a new lease with the parking option? We don't want to start a whole new lease and that shouldn't be allowed it doesn't seem fair. The spots are always available they are not a high demand option
  • If the house smells like animal urine, wet dog, etc and the property mgmt says they will take care of it...but they said they would. What are my rights for backing out of the lease? I just signed it on Tuesday April 4th 2019
  • I owned a house in 2005- when everything boomed it was way overpriced and there was a 1st and a 2nd. I went through a divorce and lost the home as it was upside down. It went into foresclosure and I never heard another word. This now 2019 and I received a letter in the mail saying the 2nd mortgage wants to settle with me for $5000 on a $92,000 note from that house- that was 13 years ago! Can they even do that? My house was upside down and then foreclosed on and sold.
  • With our state on stay at home order due to the pandemic are we still having to provide our child for visitations even if it would mean the child would travel to another city and be more exposed as a result? And if so wouldn’t that be breaking the stay at home order? If we don’t do it would that be considered breaking the visitation order?
  • If the landlord evicts me for 3,000 $ back rent on his lot, does he take ownership of the 50,000 $ Manufactured Home and everything inside?
  • What are rules for Medicaid recipients with regard to the other spouses rights? I'm planning for if I would have to go to a Nursing Home.
  • I am not married to the father of my child do his parents get granparent rights to see the child.
  • If a writ of eviction is issued after a foreclosure, must the new owner store the evicted person's goods, or are they put out on the street?
