Me and my child’s father made a written agreement that I have full custody between us and I want nothing from him he hasn’t been apart of my son’s life I said I don’t want no child support or anything my son is 10 years old can he give up his rights with our agreement. And can I change his last name due to the fact his dads hasn’t been in the picture for 8years

I have two boys ages 8 and 11 they are with me 50% of the time and my ex wife their mother the other 50 5 of the time. this was established in the divorce papers. Their mother has a new job theat requires her to work 12 hour night shifts. I have offered to take the boys duing these times and was denied by their mother. I have since requested the names and contact info of the individuals who will be watching them during these times and was denied this information by the mother as well. My question is- What are my rights and what can I do to insure that my boys are properly cared for?

I am a teacher who took FMLA leave for surgery. My principal said that I am not allowed on campus to attend a meeting concerning my schedule. Is this true? He also said that if I request a meeting, they cannot meet with me because of the FMLA guidelines. Is that true? It all sounds fishy. Why wouldn't my staff be allowed to answer my emails under FMLA?
