QUESTIONS

  • Have had many issues with AC ceiling unit leaking all over kitchen floor in my apt since March. Manager does nothing. I delivered a 10-day form from gov website statute 33-1324 10 days ago. Is there anything more to it then just moving out? What if they try to say I broke lease and report to credit?
  • We have a serious mold problem. Everyone in the house is sick all the time. It is from the leaks in the roof which have been fixed over and over by the maintenance men. Is this negligence on the landlords part and can we sue for damages?

  • HI, I am deaf, and I am living in an apartment. Do we have the right to tell the Landlord not to let anyone come in without our permission cause they walk in when i shower or standing in kitchen with my boxers on, or sleeping... they got no right to come in without calling or texting me if i am home or not. Do i have the right tell them NO entrance? I was raped by a maintenance when i was in my 20’s so i do not like anyone coming in while i am sleeping or showering or standing in kitchen in my boxers. This maintenance just opened the door and i freaked out.
  • If when signing the plea the judge states "I will allow the felony to be set aside." After completing probation I was denied. The felony is Agg. Assault and I know that violent crimes are not eligible to be set aside. But I feel there should be accountability. What are the options?
  • I work in outside sales. For a number of years my employer has deducted shipping costs from my commission for all accounts outside the metro area. Recently they have begun deducting the % of $ credit charges cost from my commission as well. They deduct this before my paycheck is cut. For example they show me a spreadsheet with my compensation as $7000.00 -500 shipping -500 cc fees (and sometimes other deductions) = $6000.00 since these fees are deducted can i write them off on taxes and is this even legal?
  • Not sure if "contract" issue. Mom transferred from hospital to after-care in North Phx Dec 2010. Jan 1 insurance name changed but coverage remained same. NMR(facility)did not contact family nor ins administrater & entered "private pay." RNs&docs contacted family throughout admit(#'s in chart). Former employee admits no letter/no voice mail message to family. NMR filed probate with condo as only asset, chose the PR, & now, due to their admin error and incompetence, fees&costs against Estate in excess of $40,000, disabled grandson being evicted & condo auction sold thru no fault of Mom or family
