QUESTIONS

  • I moved in to my apartment on 6/8/18. On 8/20 I found bed bugs in my bedroom. I documented everything and my property manager said she would be sending the exterminator on 8/24 to start the treatment. My question is Who pays for the treatment? When I asked the property manager this she said the cost is split 50/50. On the lease it is NOT stated who is responsible. But, all of our furniture was purchased brand new after we moved in, so I do not believe I as the tenant should pay but I need clarity.
  • I am being threatened to vacate the apartment by my landlord, but I have not received written notice. The reason I have been told to vacate is because my landlord believe I have an unauthorized tenant but she has no proof that the person lives with me and is not giving me the ten day notice to add them to the lease and this is low income is this right or can I fight this?

The orders state supervision around her sister at all time. This is because of a drug issue. I initially filed for 50/50 and no visitations with her sister. My wife asked for sole custody. I feel it is in the best interest of the children to not be around her sister due to the drug problem. How will a judge look at this because her sister is not the one I am divorcing, but she is already in the temp orders and the kids are around her?
