Last May the mother of my two children took me to court for the custody of my children. one of the decisions of the court was that the childrens mother would get to file my daughter on her taxes and I would file my son. this is in the court notes and the formal decision. come to find out, she filed both children on her income taxes this year. what do i do to resolve this?

I retired in January of last year (2016). My former employer is using my photo in his yellow pages and internet advertising WITHOUT my permission. what type of attorney do I contact? I wish to sue for monetary damages if possible and to stop him from using my photo and name in these ads. I gave him over 20 years of full time service, and the first time I actually took my full vacation time (3 weeks), he called me (during week 2)and told me he only wants to use me part time after my vacation was up.

My lease states that we are responsible for the "care and maintenance" of the appliances, the glass stove top broke during normal use and the landlord is requesting that we pay for it. If the appliance breaks under normal use, is that our fault? Are we responsible for it under "care and maintenance" ?

On behalf of my 60 yo disabled client; she has a rude, intimidating landlord that continually threatens to deliver a "notice" to the tenant. I called on behalf of tenant and the landlord hung up on me refusing to answer my questions. My client is scared of her landlord and feels threatened. She also reported he yells and knocks on her door inebriated. What can she do?
