My son's father and I were never married and we broke up before he turned 1. I have sole custody and he has visitation time which his parents use as he has zero interest in being a part of my son's life. My son is now 12. I have started community college full time, two of my classes are not college accredited as I was educationally deprive and have to catch up to take Eng. 101 and college math. I spend more time studying than the average student as English is my second language. I work 8 hours a week at a clothing store. I just started caring for a 90 year old lady, more than 20 hours per week, in exchange for a place to study & sleep. DES says I need to work 20 hours a week to get food stamps. Would my caring of the 90 year old count as working even though I do not get paid?

I'm pregnant and don't wish to keep the baby. I'm back in school trying to get my life on track for my son who I already am raising. Abortion is not an option. My question is 2 parts: 1). Is it possible to relinquish my parental rights to the father (who is older and stable) once the baby is born if all parties are in agreement? 2). If a close family friend and her husband want to adopt the baby, can I and the father relinquish rights to them if we all are in agreement? We all want the outcome to be the best for the baby and parent(s) to ensure healthy attachment at birth. Thank you

I have sole legal and father last known address is CA. Last attempt to serve was done by alternate service and last known address. He has not exercised visitation in almost 3yrs. Has history of Domestic violence. Sole legal was given 1yr ago. I'm currently needing to move out of state. Since he is not in AZ I'm not sure if I need to file with the court. Or just update my address. My last attorney said I'm free to go where and when I need but never said how.
