  • Yesterday a beehive found its way into the eves over my front door, making it impossible to go in or exit from the front door. My wife (sadly the owner’s daughter. Not on good terms any longer) is highly allergic to bees. We have a restraining order on the landlord (father) so have little contact with him. We sent him a text to alert him of the bees. He refused to do anything that day and said he will need to get estimates, forgoing the risk this put o my wife. We found a company that came out the same day. We waiting several hours for him to comply but her refused. Are we liable for this fee

I gave him another 6 weeks and he did not move . then I gave him one more week and that is up in 3 days and it does not look like he is going to move by then. what should I do ? • Due to the Covid19, my business has taken a hit. That meant no money was coming in to pay Payroll. From Feb-May, I've been living off credit cards. I have made a partial rent payment for April and May 2020. I came home yesterday to an eviction notice. The property owner knows of my business & financial situation. I was told that as long as I was making a partial payment towards rent, that by law I couldn't be evicted (with intent to pay in full ASAP) My company was just awarded the PPP LOAN, which I advised my property owner the very next day that all past portion of rents would be paid asap

  • On behalf of my 60 yo disabled client; she has a rude, intimidating landlord that continually threatens to deliver a "notice" to the tenant. I called on behalf of tenant and the landlord hung up on me refusing to answer my questions. My client is scared of her landlord and feels threatened. She also reported he yells and knocks on her door inebriated. What can she do?
  • I am applying to live in an apartment, and the application asks for my birth certificate. My peers think that is unheard of and that I need to double check why they are asking for that personal documentation. Does it have anything to do with the laws regarding illegal immigration? Or does it have to do with checking to see if I am a legal citizen, but why can't they just use my drivers license and/or social security number?
