I own a condo which is part of an HOA, they recently redid our plumbing (common property) and had the water off making our unit uninhabitable and my family had to live in a hotel room for a week. This was an expense that we cannot afford. Should the HOA be responsible for paying our hotel stay since the repairs on common property, plumbing, made our unit uninhabitable?

My son began renting an apartment 3 weeks ago. He purchased new furniture other than his bed he has had with no issues. In the past four days he and his girlfriend have noticed bites on them and she now has a rash from the bites. To make a long story short they found bed bugs on the corner of his mattress that is adjacent to a electrical outlet. He cut open his mattress looking for tale tale signs of any more only to find nothing. He plans on asking his the apartment to spray his and the adjacent apartments and allow him to move out to another unit. What are his rights?

He hasn't seen or attempted to see our son and speaks on the phone with him MAYBE once a month, he hasn't supported him financially this whole time even though he has a steady job. My contact information has remained the same this whole time as well. I have never denied him access to our son he chooses not to contact him would his actions be considered a form of abandonment

I have been asked to appear in court in person during the month of September I am being charged with violation of ARS: 13-3619. Basically I left my son in a car for about 15 minutes with the windows rolled down because he absolutely REFUSED to get out of the car. Knowing I just had to pick up one item from the shoe store, I "ran in" to the store to get the item. I UNDERSTAND and take FULL responsibility for my lapse in judgement. My question...do you advise me to get a lawyer for this court appearance? What is the possible punishment for this violation?? Thank you!! PS: I have NO record!

I have joint legal and physical custody of my daughter (12). The access schedule we agreed to equals exactly 50/50 physical custody. Because of my work schedule (2:30-11:00pm M-F), my current wife and family members pick my daughter up from school and care for her in the evenings during the week. My question is, would a judge penalize me for not being the one physically with her during those times when figuring child support?
