MY EX-HUSBAND PASSED AWAY 3 MONTHS AGO. HE SET UP TRUST ACCOUNT WITH A BANK. NOW THE BANK TOLD ME THAT I AM NOT GETTING ANY MONEY FROM THE TRUST ACCOUNT..THE DOCUMENT SAID THAT I SHOULD RECEIVE MONEY. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. PLEASE HELP.

I have rented a room in my home to a lady and her 7 cat and 2 rabbits for 4 years. It started as a "to help someone out" situation to she is a hoarder and does not want to move. I understand I can take legal action to force her to move but what about the animals. I can not take care of them and I am afraid she will just leave them here. Can I force her to take her animal with her? Thank you.

I moved into an apartment 4 years ago with carpet flooring. I have always been allergic to carpet. Now I want the complex to change the carpet to vinyl flooring planks. Are they required do to ADA and pay for it? They say if I want new flooring, I must pay for it.

My mom was diagnosed with dementia and she received a civil summons from a credit card company. Mom only receives social security and has a very small monthly pension which are put into her checking account. She also has a small IRA from her former 401k which she is having to use for daily care services. This will most likely be depleted soon. Given her current state, we are unsure about what to do. Can you provide some direction? I have read they can put a lien on her checking account. Thank you.

I am renting to own my manufactured home from my landlord who is in turn paying off loan company. The contract she wrote and we both signed but was never notarized or witnessed states that I will rent the home" as is" meaning she is not responsible for any damages. The septic tank is broken and flooding badly enough that one side of the house has sunken into the ground. The clogging from the septic has caused leaks and clogs in water pipes causing mold in walls and insulation under house ruined. A lic. Plumber informed me that the septic tank got broken when she installed it previous to my renting. It is also illegally placed too close to house. Also, my mother paid my rent in February and when I asked my landlord if she received this money she stated no. I called my mother to confirm she did go there then I called landlord back and told her I knew she was lying about it and she admitted that she had in fact lied about how much rent I actually owe her. What can I do about all of this?

Just want to get to the point.. My husband is waiting for his appointment.. We have not paid the lawyer yet.. I heard that we should be paying the lawyer to make the appointment to get his green card/visa.. Is that true? And the lawyer is asking for $3500 and it has to be paid off first to get the appointment set up. Is this correct and is that amount correct too??

I just did my paternity test and Iam the father when my daughter was born my ex did not put me on the birth certificate so i want to get another birth certificate with my name on it? Is this a simple procedure done at the social security office just bringing in my paternity test papers. Cause my ex has the original birth certificate?

I have been paying rent for a room in a house month-month with no lease agreement. I got a written notice saying I need to be out of the house by the first of August, I received this notice today (7.20.16). That leaves me only 10 days or so, is this legal? I want to leave anyways, but 10 days isn't enough time for me to move due to work. Who can I call, I need to resolve this immediately.
