Our parents passed away two months ago and in their Will they appointed me guardian of my fourteen year old, half sister. Her grandparents don't like me and want to gain custody of her. Their son always said he never wants them to have my sister because of how he was raised. Our parent's assets are split between us so I will be able to take care of her until she comes of age to get her half. Please help. I can't get through this hard time without her with me.

Hi, I was wondering if somebody could tell me what the processes for removing a father off of my three-year-old daughter’s birth certificate and changing her name? He is her biological father, however a year and a half ago we moved to a different state and he has not bothered to have any contact with her for over a year And of course has never paid child support. I’d like to take him off of her birth certificate and change her name to my name instead. Thank you for your advice!

I am the recipient of the child support that my son is to recieve. I am not working but going to school full time, my son's father had put down on the paper work when he filed that I was making minimum wage and said that it was mandatory to have that down regardless if I was working or not. Is this true. He also says that it was mandatory that he gets to put my son on his taxes every year for four years is this true?

Can my 1/2 of the deposit be withheld if I comply to my notice to vacate and leave before lease is up and my roommate stays aka “squats”. He has decided to stay and never gave his notice to vacate , because due to the pandemic, his next rental is unavailable for another 30/60 days. The landlord states he has to leave and my rooomate is fighting it. The landlord threatened my deposit as well even tho I’m vacating the property when I’m supposed to . Can they keep my 1/2 of them deposit bc of my roommates actions?
