  • I want to move out of state my 14 year old daughter is now living with her father how do I sign over guardianship to him I don't want to give up my rights I just want him able to make legal decisions because we have joint custody and I'm the primary patent
  • Do i need to pay rent if the house i'm renting is in foreclosure. and if so to who?
  • We rented a home in Maricopa and had the AC unit go out approx. 8 times in 3 months. Every time the property management company would file a claim with the home warranty company. . We had to buy our own window AC to stay cool. Only twice were we offered a hotel. Combined between myself and my husband we had to take off 10 days from work to accommodate the repair man. The repair man said from the start that the unit needed to be replaced but it never was. Our AC bills were as high as 700 dollars due to the issues. Do we have a case in small claims court?
  • My husband recently took a plea agreement and though he was signing for disorderly conduct. Once we got the paperwork home it indicates that it is domestic violence. There is also several other items on the form that were not told by us by the prosecutor. Can we appeal? Both "victims" in this case were trying to call an ambulance, not the police. They have both written letters stating that they were never in any danger and told the police that evening when they came. Also, the defendant signed the plea just hours after leaving the hospital.We feel duped into taking this plea.

  • I was offered a job and need to terminate my lease with short notice. I've provided notice in writing to my landlord (both via email and certified letter), as well as called several times, but I haven't gotten any sort of response from them. Do I have any further responsibilities or recourse?
  • My landlord seems to be blowing off some of my repair improvement requests on the house I'm renting. These requests include sealing the 3 doors to enter the house, open electrical outlets, the water heater makes the loud popping noises, insulation and overall sealing of the house. We get a lot of bugs inside, some of the wood post that hold up the carport are not secured to the roof. Even though the roof had been repaired before we moved in, there are still many spots around the house that are very visible, that it's obviously rotted wood. Am I allowed to renegotiate my rent?
