Question: I was involved in a probate mental health case in 2003. I was under the impression that those files were sealed yet I was able to locate the docket available for public view?
Answer: Even though the docket, or list of documents that were filed, might be available to view, if the documents were sealed, no one (other than those excepted from the statute) can view the actual filed documents.
