My grandson is 5 and has spent most of his life in my custody. He states he hates going home because there isn't any food or the electricity is turned off. Mom has since had 3 other children, and the father is threatening to take them. My concern is he is being neglected. She can't keep a home, she's very transient, can't keep a job, and has a house of women who berate and verbally abuse my grandson. With me, he has consistency and structure. Every now and then mom wants him back, but it's only briefly. Is there any way for me to get guardianship I worry so much for him?

I am SMI and severely physically and mentally disabled. I have trouble communicating. An employee that works in the office always treats me poorly and treats my non disabled friend and tenant normally. She recently called cops on me and tried to force me to leave office w/o info while discriminating against me talking about if I would “stop running [my] mouth” + more abuse. I still don’t have info. Makes it hard for me. Do I have recourse?

My teenage daughter and I were both arrest for domestic violence and both of us were prosecuted. Same case yet we were both identified as defendants which very effectively eliminated any accountability especially by the courts to address "Victim's Rights" at all. The words "dominate aggressor" does not exist , at least not in the statues in AZ. So my question is: How do the courts justify this? Is this ethical? Every justification so far has been absolutely absurd. Have you thought this through at all? Obviously: no victim, double fees, more income, more DV programs as Dual arrests increase
