QUESTIONS

  • I paid my deposit to my landlord with 2 money orders. I have receipts from the landlord for both of them. The landlord "lost" one of the money orders. They are now asking me to pay them again for the lost one and for me to file the paperwork myself to see if I can get the money back from the company who issued the original money order. I feel that once it left my possession and they gave me a receipt that it is their responsibility. Can they penalize me for their mistake?
  • My landlord and her husband and friend came to do yard maintance, with my permission. Later when I went outside, I noticed my large area rug that I had rolled up and put up on back patio was gone along with all the Large trash bags I had put aside of aluminum cans. It was obvious I collected/saved aluminum cans, I had desingated a assigned area in the corner of the yard with a "make shift small fence. I asked her about them and she told me that she would discuss those items when she sees me, I should have rights, to me that is like stealing?

Every justification so far has been absolutely absurd. Have you thought this through at all? Obviously: no victim, double fees, more income, more DV programs as Dual arrests increase
  • I live in the state of michigan. I have an 18 month old little boy and my ex boyfriend is trying to take custody of him from me.
