I am a veteran I served my country with honor, and pride. I need information on how to acquire an audit from the V.A. debt management center. They have kept me in poverty over the last 30 years. If I still owe them anything shouldn't I be able to see what it is that I am still paying for. I would like to know where the funds they receive are being applied. My fixed income has been duned by the IRS to the tune of 20,000 dollars I was being duned by them and some how, I've managed to pay off the IRS, but the debt from the V.A. was just over 13,000for a foreclosed home. Please HELP.

How can i get my case number without having go down the DES Office?

My son was placed in guardianship approximately 5 yrs ago. recently he (16) has expressed desire to return to living with me as he no longer feels safe or wanted at grandmas who has guardianship. He has threatened to run away many times. Frequently asks me to get him away from there as he is told almost daily that he needs them, they don't need him or that he will be sent to fostercare if he keeps on going way he is. Also that he will never be able to return to live with me again. (my rights were not terminated). What do I need to do to end the guardianship so he can come back to live with me?

Is there an interest percentage cap on the collectible debt? Is the debt collector allowed to negotiate the interest portion of the debt if client is able to pay? Is the debt held by a debt collection agency good forever?

We have a tenant who is operating a commercial business in a residential R5 area on our property. We do have liability insurance. It started out as a hobby, but it has gotten beyond that. I rent a single family home in Tucson Arizona and over the years the roof has sustained significant water damage due to negligence and poor construct. We recently received heavy rainfall and the roof leaked, causing the ceiling to collapse into the home. Landlord sent two roofing companies to inspect the roof, both said it’s unsafe but did not use the word uninhabitable so therefore landlord will not break lease. He has contracted for roof replacement but that means we are still in the home with various cracks through out the ceiling. Can I get my own evaluation done and get out of this lease?
