  • I was a victim of Domestic Abuse on 3/9/13. I called & also faxed a notice to landlord telling her I was vacating the property on 3/11/13 & told her why & attached copy of Restraining order. Now she won't give me back my deposit because she let my husband move back in & he messed up the place. At the time I gave her notice he was not living there & the keys were returned to her. Since she did not do a walk through on 3-11 and let him move back in, am I still responsible for damages? She said she had 30 days to release me from the lease. Is this true.

  • my son was given a two day notice (Feb. 10th 2020 Friday at 6 p.m. weekends closed) that he needed to leave his apartment (1 month after moving in and paying his first months rent) in order for the property management company to perform emergency repairs. the landlord of this unit nor my son were not given any documentation nor information in regards to what repairs. they were both unaware of any repairs needed.   • I'm a victim of fraud, conversion, assault and battery, mental, verbal, financial, and elderly abuse. The defendant is sue able. What kind of lawyer would take a case like this? My case doesn't qualify for legal aide, because, it is an Intentional Tort. Is it possible to sue the abuser without an attorney? Hiring a lawyer is not an option, because, I can't afford it.
