  • I rent a Room from that person who is on the lease when the police crossed my threshold into my Room did they require a search warrant the same as they would in my home And since they had no search warrant is anything they found admissible as evidence in a court of law
  • My wife and I rented a home in Sun City Arizona, a few months in, what they thought was a windshear tore off the Arizona room ceiling and threw it on top of the house. We call the owner immediately and let him know and he said he would take care of it, we also let him know we had our furniture in the Arizona room And would be covering it so that there would be no damage. Unfortunately, it was very hard and we did have rain, our high top bar set and tile top table and patio couch and chairs were ruined because of the heat. The landlord took almost 3 months to finally get someone to replace the ceiling.
  • Two weeks ago I had a discussion with my landlord and his wife about being two weeks late on my rent and would need to pay it on the 14th of November. They were kind and said that would be fine and to come in around rent time to fill out a promissory note. During that time and now his (the landlord's) wife left him because he was very abusive. Now Sunday Nov 2nd I went in to fill out the contract to pay on the 14th and the landlord said he was evicting anyone who had anything to do with her. What can I do I am a single dad with no family in AZ.
  • A set of keys was used to rob the residence three weeks ago *with me in the home*. I stayed locked in my room since I was unsure of what was happening. Went out, things strewn everywhere, my stereo system stolen, the mail key used to steal packages expected that day. Landlord still refuses to change the locks. First excuse was that it would infringe on the rights of the roommate suspected of handing out her keys (or even helping with the robbery in person). Is what my landlord doing landlord negligence? These people have a KEY to my HOME! Isn’t there some responsibility for tenant safety???
  • I recently divorced, and due to an error the request to restore my maiden name was not checked on the decree. I currently live out of state for graduate school, though I still hold an AZ driver's license and remain registered as a resident in Pima County. Since I am out of state, how do I now go about getting my name restored?
  • I own my home/rent lot, in 55+ m/h park, my house burnt down 3/7 I was told my responsibility to move it. I don't know how, and I can't afford. LL states will move it if I sign over title. Is that ok? What's the catch? Can I still live in this park? Is this a usual practice? Please advise, I want to stay in this park
  • We live in a 55+ Mobile home park. My dad & mom bought it about 8 or so years ago for me. They lived in it and are on the rental agreement But I'm the owner and not on the rental agreement.   • I and another coworker have become pregnant, since informing our employer of our current conditions our job responsiblities have changed dramatically, the employer has not treated us with respect and has caused undue stress on us both. Also the employer has denied us time off for doctor's appointments and refuses to work with our current schedules to accommadate our appointments. Where are we covered under the FMLA or are we? We have fewer then 15 employees and we are a non-profit organization.
