Husband is retiring from working. What happens to my son's child support?
-
My husband and I have partial custody of our 11 year old son. His child parenting plan states that he is only see his son every other weekend for a total of 6 days a month. His mother and stepfather are constantly traveling for work. We end up having him 50-75% of the month. He feels unloved in the other home. At what age can my step son choose to live with us or with them. We are from Minnesota, but permanently reside in Arizona now.

I have filed for divorce. I did this on January 28, 2008. I cannot afford an attorney so I am having to do this on my own. I also filed a petition for temporary orders. The hearing is on the 22nd of February. I did not understand the instructions to serve my husband. I took the papers to the sheriff's office on February 4. What happens if my husband doesn't get served on time? I just mailed the order to appear yesterday, 2-13.

We've been renting our house for 5 years and our AC/Heat bills have always been high. We just found out that the garage that our landlord converted into a bedroom has no insulation. Does this room legally need to be insulated? And if so, is he responsible to refund us a portion for the unusually high bills?
