  • We did not find any results for 'I gave my landlord 2 months rent in advance. A few weeks later he told me i owed the electric bill so he took my money and put it on that. I specifically told him it was for two months rent. Plus i just found out he was double charging me on the electric every month. Now he is saying i owe him rent for this month, i dont feel i should have to pay it, i gave him 1800$ FOR RENT. Hes threatening to take me to court, can he evict me for this?'
  • I am trying to find information for a friend who is unable to afford a divorce/legal separation. His spouse has essentially kidnapped their son and left the state without any contact. The cost of filing for legal separation/divorce is not prohibitive, but the forms require legal assistance to fill out properly which is costly. Is there a way to petition for temporary custody order/rights without filing for legal separation to bring their son back to his home state?
  • I live in a place that was built in the 60s and the plumbing is still the old school piping (not plastic) but our toilet is brand new. My sister put a baby wipe down the toilet and it plugged up the piping. The plumber came out and said normally a wipe is fine to flush but because the piping is ancient you can't. So it cost $200 to fix the problem and our landlord handed us the bill. Is this right? Shouldn't they be paying for this?
  • landlord keeps enter my apartment without notice to fix items in our apt. We have not problem but we ask for then to notify us at what time and when, so we could be present. They tells that they could enter at anytime with out notice. Also they give the key to our apartment to other vendors without letting us know. We have little baby that get scared easily because of same trauma they been thur. We have given then times and days but they still do what they want.   • My fiance and I went to Dallas over Easter weekend to get his mother Mary age 76 from the nursing home she was in. She has severe Dementia and her husband agreed to let us take her in. He no longer wants to make any decision on her. Phillip is her only child. We need to get power of Attorney on her. Was told we needed to get a Durable Power of Attorney and would cost us 6k to do this. Is their a cheaper way? How? Thank you
  • I had a DUI in 2005. I thought everything was done. In 2014 the court issued a warrant for my arrest ( I found out because they suspended my concealed weapons license ) .I called the city court and they said it was over a DUI in 2005. I went to court , and the judge said I did not do 36 hours of alcohol treatment. I had receipts for traffic school, MADD school, level 1 school . The attorney I had, when I called him, said that a retired judge was going back thru all the DUI cases because Tucson was broke and was trying to get more money from everybody. Is this legal after 9 years?
  • Do I have a case if my house caught on fire due to the fact that my manager haven't up dated the electric boxes.theu put me up in another place.but the first place had black mold and jam now in another place which is hard on me I am handicapped.
