  • After signing my lease agreement and after moving in, my landlord had some guy come to the house to do a stucco job due to termites. We were not aware of the house having termite until after we were settled in. The guy said he would come back to work on the house because he needed the landlord signature to start the repairs. Well I guess my landlord never signed the paper because the guy never returned. It has been months and we still have termites. What can I do in this situation.
  • The gas is in my landlord's name because it covers the whole building, and he is supposed to give us a monthly statement so we can pay our share. We have been here since January. It is March, and we have yet to receive a bill. I am afraid that he will wait until it is too much to pay at once. Does he have a time limit to get our monthly bill to us?

  • I'm not a Landlord, but a person who let a woman & her children stay with me due to domestic violence. Her children are so violent that they attack my dog & my young children. She's only be here a couple weeks. I want her to leave, but I don't know if I've gotten myself into a legal bind. I'm trying to get her to go to a DV shelter, but so far no luck. What can I do legally. No agreement was signed & no money had been paid by her.

  • My husband and I are renting a home from an out of state owner. The property is managed by a property manager. We replaced the hallway carpet in February due to our pet rearing it up. Per our pet agreement it was our responsibility. 1 week later a hose under our hallway bathroom but and caused it to flood. Damaging the tile floor in the kitchen. Now they are trying to say we tampered with the hose and are responsible for half of the bill, inspection and replacement of the carpet. Can they do this?
  • I have been served papers from an Atty's office that I've never heard off, from a Company they're representing, that again I've never heard of stating that I had a Visa card from US Bank, and again I've never have had one, and also they used my nickname, which I would never open a credit card with that name, now, they're suing me for 2,800 and Im not sure where to go from here...I can't afford much for an attorney.
