My landlord and her husband and friend came to do yard maintance, with my permission. Later when I went outside, I noticed my large area rug that I had rolled up and put up on back patio was gone along with all the Large trash bags I had put aside of aluminum cans. It was obvious I collected/saved aluminum cans, I had desingated a assigned area in the corner of the yard with a "make shift small fence. I asked her about them and she told me that she would discuss those items when she sees me, I should have rights, to me that is like stealing?
My landlord entered the property thorough a window and began to move my things out because I failed to pay rent. Without my consent he took a house key while he was inside the property and used it to re-gain access while i was at work. He Showed up to my work ordering me to leave work and move my stuff out, endless phone calls at all hours to my 13 yr old sons phone and so on. On 8/16 I came home to find a 5 day notice dated 8/15 taped to the front door, today I received a copy via cert mail. Do the 5 days begin when the notice was taped to my door or today when received the cert mail?

I never signed a lease when I moved in to my current home in Scottsdale. I did, however, give a 'last months' rent as a deposit. How much notice is required by law prior to move out, and am I able to recover the balance if I gave a notice on the 10th of the month, had already paid that month's rent in full, and would like to receive the full 'last month's rent deposit back?.
