QUESTIONS

  • Am I responsible for debt incurred prior to marriage at anytime?
  • I CANT FIND A LAWYER WHO WILL TAKE MY CASE. I AM SUFFERING FROM A HYPOXIC BRAIN INJURY AFTER BOWEL OBSTRUCTION SURGERY. IM RUNNING OUT OF TIME TO FILE. WHATEVER HAPPENED TO JUSTICE FOR ALL?
  • In early February, my spouse and I received a Notice of Non-Renewal of Lease without reason. We were given until March 31st to turn in the keys & pay March's rent. Our uniy has many health and safety issues which the property management company continues to ignore. This may or may not be as the repairs cannot be done if we still occupy the unit.We could not make the rent for March. With no option to stay, finding a new one with the money to put down was crucial. My spouse works an 'Essential' job in unsanitary conditions-in fear of contracting covid-19. Can we defend more time when its safe?
  • My girlfriend is having a baby and I want to sign the birth certificate as the babys father. Can I do this?
  • We have lived in a rental since 2009. Two years ago, the house was sold to a new owner and now we have a property management company that we talk to. (Prior was family friend owner). There is a large Tree in the back yard, over 30 ft tall, that has been maintained by the previous owner personally and by some people the property management sent over three different times since taking over the property. Due to a recent storm, the tree has broken branches 20 + feet in the air. The property management company was notified and have told me its my responsibilty. Is this true or not?
  • I was told by the rental company that Arizona passed a new law that if a person has a protective order they can get out of their lease. Is this true?
  • My son is 17 and in high school with twins on the way. What is his finacial obligation while in school? Can the mother come after my husband and I for child support? The mother is of legal age and out of school, so do the courts take that into consideration?
  • I want to have a juvenile record destroyed. What form do I use?
  • Can landlords ask for a pet deposit?
  • We gave a roommate 30-day verbal notice that his month-to-month lease was up. If he doesn't leave could his drinking binges (including driving on a suspended license, with no insurance), and belligerent, vaguely threatening but scary behavior be enough to get an immediate eviction started? He will go into the kitchen falling down drunk when everyone else is asleep, and I'm afraid he could start a fire, by accident or on purpose. Or would we have to give him written notice and start from square one? Thanks!
