Recently in my apartment the refrigerator went out andwas repaired by a repair man the manager sent over and the repairman stated that for me to write out a list of food that was lost and take to the office.this was done and I also sign the paper stating that this in fact did happen.the manager stated that under normal situation the landlord is not responsible for the food that was lost, but because the repairman stated that he would make sure I would get paid for food lost.I would have to take this up with my insurance (Renter's insurance) about $75-100 worth of groceries. The manager has offered to deduct $75 dollars off of rent for the following month, and i agreed to this. The question is am I to be responsible for food that was lost ,when the appliance came with the apartment?this is not the first time this has happen to me.should I contact my insurance company regarding this issue?

Trying to sell my mobile home in private rv park, landlord has taken 6 weeks in process of qualifying new tenant. Requiring all sorts of paperwork and credit card statements for past 2 years, new tenant proved high credit rating and no criminal background, finally he said he was thru and withdrew application which made sale of my mobile home cancelled. Meantime I have turned down a few buyers waiting this unreasonable amount of time for approval of a good reasonable buyer. How long is lawful to make a buyer wait for approval into a mobile home park. I fear this will never end.

My landlord turned off the heat to the entire apt complex a week ago, and stated that it can't be turned back on. It is reasonable to presume that without heat, the temperature inside the residing units will be comparable to outside. I tried to submit, in writing, a letter requesting that by purchasing an adequate heater to heat my unit during this time, I may apply the amount spent on the heater, with proof of receipt, to be deducted from my rent for the month of March, 2015. I cited 33-1324 and 33-1364 in the letter. The landlord denied the request. How enforceable is my principle?
