I am a Registered Nurse and have worked continuously as a RN in the Phoenix area for 37 years. This year a requirement for proof of citizenship is required. I have my Certified birth Certificate but it is not acceptable by the State Board of Nursing because my first and middle names are reversed from what the Arizona State Board of Nursing have on file. The only documentation I received to verify the change was my social security card. I am a Medicare Benificiary and I receive Social Security Benefits. I have been researching the accepted lists for proof of citizenship and find that Arizona states if you have been accepted into the Medicare program no other proof of citizenship is required. I have been a Medicare Benificiary since I was 65, a total of 6 years. However, the Arizona State Board of Nursing lists do not include enrollment in Medicare as proof of Citizenship. What can I do to prove I am a United States Citizen?

I leased my home using a legit lease form accepted one months down for a security down. They stayed for 5 months, lived there for 2 months without paying rent before they dissapeared and trashed the home, we had to pay $2500.00 in repairs and I have not been able to re-rent the place still for 2 months. It was a 2 year signed lease. Will I have a chance to win if I take them to small claims court? I know where one of them work. Thanks Jim

What is the difference between a 'living will' and a 'last will and testament' type of will?

I am an Indian residing in Phoenix on work visa. I was assaulted by another Indian. I shifted to her house and just after 2 days she assaulted me on domestic matter, as she was the primary lease holder and my name was not on lease , i had to move out after she called the cope. I want to press charges against her.

My sons mother and I lived together since he was born 4 years ago, we are no-longer together and I am considering filing for support on myself for joint custody and parenting time. Will the support be calculated back from the time he was born,from time we separated (1 month), or from time I or she files? for support?

My wife and I rented a home in Sun City Arizona, a few months in, what they thought was a windshear tore off the Arizona room ceiling and threw it on top of the house. We call the owner immediately and let him know and he said he would take care of it, we also let him know we had our furniture in the Arizona room And would be covering it so that there would be no damage. Unfortunately, it was very hard and we did have rain, our high top bar set and tile top table and patio couch and chairs were ruined because of the heat. The landlord took almost 3 months to finally get someone to replace the ceiling.

We just moved in a month ago to our first apt and we have a pitbull and boxer mix and we disclosed that info on day one. The lady we talked to the first day said it wouldnt be a problem and the just put in boxer for the breed. Fastforward to a day ago we get a notice saying that there was a complaint that we had a pitbull and they are not allowed at my apt complex. I went to the office sayong there was clearly a mistake but no she gave me a ten day notice to get rid of my dog or give 30 days notice of us wanting to move out. I read over the lease agreement and the pet addendum and there is nothing about breed restrictions or pitbulls. Who is in the wrong and where do I stand legally?

I share joint custody and my sons father drops him off at his siblings home and my son stays there most days when he is not under my care. He sleeps on their couch at night. Can I possibly get full custody if the other parent is doing this? Also, my son has a lot of trouble learning in school and he does have an IEP and he gets no help academically when he is with other parent and I have to always pick up where my son last left off in regards to reading and homework and it hurts him academically because this is only being done part time. Can either of those situations help me get primary care

A bench trial has been set for a misdameanor criminal case! I wanted a trial by jury. How do we change this? Also if I have to supply a list of the persons in my defense to the prosecutor doesn't he have to supply a list of the persons he is to call against me?
