  • I beat up an 18 year old and I'm 15, she's pressing charges what will happen to me?
  • My boyfriend and I paid our rent 435 + 48 late fees for the prior month leaving us a balance of 65 dollars in late fees for this month. I seen AZ law states that a 10% total rent is the most that can be charged for late fees. Per the rental agreement, the only mention of late fees 25.00 + 5.00 daily late fees until for any portion of rent that is not paid. There is no section devoted to late fees as required by AZ law. I was wondering can a landlord charge late fees on the months late fees?
  • Family Member Home was purchased purchased as a FHA and I lived in the home for the past 3 years, in which I have been living in the property with my family and making the mortgage payments and making Bills payments. Thinking I would be the owner someday. The owner goes behind my back and deeds the property to an investor in CA. When I ask him to sign a deed to me, he's already done so with private investors. I stop making the mortgage payments,since he deeded the hm elsewhere. We are now in foreclosure process and owner is no where to be found. What can I do to keep my family in their home.

  • After a Judgement has been paid in full through a writ of garnishment can a creditor claim that there is still money owed to his client? In this case the amount in the judgement is less than what the client turned into the creditor plus a 40% collection fee. And after the judgement was paid in 2005 no further notification was received as to any extra amounts being due. I have just now received notice that I owe this outstanding blance plus 4 years of interest. This is still the original creditor from 2005.
  • I got a DUI in 2006. I did all of my required assignments, but I was ordered a blower in my car. This was not a law at the time. I have gotten my Associates Degree in Criminal Science, and my Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice. Unfortunately, they all seem to require a valid AZ DL. I can't afford a car and a blower without a job, and I can't get a job without a valid AZ DL. I want to see if I can try and get the order reversed by the Glendale Court Judge, as MVD has declined my request. Is this possible, and how do I go about it if it is?
  • I am currently renting a room in a person's house. Due to a leak in the plumbing they are replacing all of the flooring on the floor that I live in, including in the room that I rent. I have to vacate my room for 2-3 days while they refloor the room. She says that she only has to reimburse me the "daily cost" of my room rental for the days I have to be out of my room. Do they have to provide adequate housing for me while I am being forced out of my room. She says I can sleep on an air mattress. Would my renters insurance cover this?
