My ex wife and I have been divorced for 18 months and it involved two kids. Our divorce decree and final agreement is filed in Rogers County Oklahoma. I now live in Arizona and have since the separation in May of 05. This summer my son came to visit and he has been asking his mom if he could live here and she gave me written and verbal permission that he could and now he has been here for 3 months with the agreement that we would modify the final agreement and child support. He is enrolled in school and school activities and after school activities and is doing very well. She is now wanting him to come back to Oklahoma and I want to file documents to keep her from doing this........can I do it here in Arizona or does he have to be here for a certain amount of time? My sister recently moved to AZ and left her children at my house & didn't tell me she was moving. How old do children have to be to decide what parent they want to live with? I have two children 15 1/2 and 12 1/2 I am relocating out of the state, we have joint custody I am the custodial parent the kids have always lived with me and wish to relocate with me. My landlord turned off the heat to the entire apt complex a week ago, and stated that it can't be turned back on. It is reasonable to presume that without heat, the temperature inside the residing units will be comparable to outside. I tried to submit, in writing, a letter requesting that by purchasing an adequate heater to heat my unit during this time, I may apply the amount spent on the heater, with proof of receipt, to be deducted from my rent for the month of March, 2015. I cited 33-1324 and 33-1364 in the letter. The landlord denied the request. How enforceable is my principle?
