QUESTIONS

  • I recently had a plumbing drain pipe from my kitchen sink break off inside the wall . Found this out when I was washing dishes went into bathroom And water was coming out of the walls . Notified property manager with in 1 hour . Had a plumber come out the next And was unable to fix issue . He pulled the stove back to access issue and there was a large piece of drywall missing and exposing interior wall . I'm with out a kitchen sink for for almost 4 days stove about 3 . I've been exposed to that wall being open for since I moved in 6 weeks . What are my rights ? Is this a breach of contract ?
  • I have 2 children under 2 years of age who where never sick until we moved into our apartmet 2 months ago. We learned it is roach infested and I have been to the doctor and ER with both children. We notified the landlord and they sprayed 2 times. Both times the roaches got worse. What are my options for my childrens safety?
  • My former wife lives in a home that has both our names on the deed. I have not lived there for over 40 years. Do I have any liability and if so how can I protect myself?
  • My son got divorced while in the Army. The child support was based on his Army income and housing allowance. The divorce was in Louisiana. He now lives in Avondale, AZ going to school and working part time. His ex-wife and daughter now live in Fort Irwin, California, with the new husband who is in the Army. My son is having difficulty paying child support since his discharged from the Army and the drastic change of income. His pay is being garnished via Arizona and Louisiana respective government agencies. Can he get the child support modified and if so where would he do it?
  • The property management is asking that I completely replace the carpet in a bedroom. I disagree, and said that it could be easily fixed with spot treatment and carpet cleaning. As stated in the original lease document that I signed; number 8 states to return the house in "good condition with normal wear and tear." They informed me (over the phone) that "spots" smaller than a quarter would NEVER be considered normal wear and tear and would come back within three months of PROFESSIONAL carpet cleaning. I'm having a carpet company evaluate document. If the company agrees with me,w hat do I do?
  • If one of our employees was arrested and he posted it on Facebook, what are our rights as his employer to ask?
