Since I resigned I have been antagonized to the point where I left after only 15 days post resignation notification. Are the employers permitted to withhold my salary under these circumstances?

We have no responsibility over the mortgage only the space rental. How are we able to get out of the rental space contract if we have to vacate under these circumstances? The purchaser is not in communication with the lien holder and has not made any response. We have been in good credit with the space rental/landowner payments to date.

  • I recently renewed my lease. When doing that I made it aware to my apartment manager that my ceiling was leaking!I was told that the AC unit ( which is a P-tech unit like used in hotels) from the apartment above me was leaking. So they told the tenants to place a bucket under the unit to catch the water!!! Well my ceiling still leaks from time to time and the sheet rock has started to fall, and the window casing near the leak had also beginto fall!! Im 3 months into my new lease and they still refuse to make repairs!!!! Can I break my lease without penalty because of neglected repairs?
  • Is a landlord required to provide you a copy of a move-out inspection list? I was provided one at the Move-In Inspection which I filled out. Now I just had the Move-Out Inspection and wasn't provided anything. what gives?
  • I applied at an apartment complex and they told me I needed to pay a holding fee so they can hold the apartment for me. All I did qawas sign the application and told them i would bring tye holding fee another day so they gave me another form stating all of the fees I was to pay at move in. (You sign that AFTER you pay the holding fee). So a couple days later I went in and cancelled my application and now they're sending me to collection for that holding fee. I asked to be shown the policy on that and all they showed me was a paper saying the amount and next to it "non-refundable".
