  • I've lived in my apartment for 3 months and have not received a copy of my lease. I have asked my landlord for a copy many times and they have not given me one. What can i do about this?

  • I need to know what constitutes a legal bill of sale.I have a signed document between to parties for the rent to own.I am now told it's NOT legal.I also made a $5,000.00 deposit nobody wants to count.

My ex wont let him and states that the notarized document states he has full custody and only can see me every other weekend. I put the landlord on notice and he had the pool drained and treated two days later. However, when I asked him when the pool maintenance would resume, he went crazy and said he was going to evict me and charge me for all of his expenses in repairing the pool. He has threatened me repeatedly out of retaliation for complaining about the pool. Can I terminate the lease because of his repeated threats?
  • The Judge attributed $10,000.00 more to my yearly salary and $4000.00 less to my ex wife's salary. She made this decision out of court so I didnt have a chance to argue. I submitted my last 3 years W-2's as did my ex. I didnt make what the judge said I made, but she made her decision. How do I get my child report to reflect what our real salaries are and base the payments off of the correct amounts?
  • I am concerned that my landlord did not follow the law in the Landlord Tenant Act (section 33-1321) concerning Landlord Obligations for security deposits. The law says “Within 14 days after termination of tenancy…the tenant shall be provided an itemized list of all deductions…” I received an itemized list of repairs within 14 days but there were no dollar amounts showing what would be deducted from my deposit. 54 days later, they provided an itemized list with deductions. The law does not say only provide an itemized list of repairs. The law says provide an itemized list of repairs WITH deductions. Since they did not provide the dollar amount of deductions within 14 days, did they violate the law? If yes, what do I do?
  • Am I required to mail my rent each month out of state if my landlord lives out of town? If no additional guest policy is referenced in my rental agreement do I have to get permission for every overnight guest? My parents watched our child for a weekend while we were out of town. It seems unreasonable to require permission in this case.
