  • Hello, my husband & I purchased an older home in Aug. The Sellers listed on the disclosure statement that they treated for roof rats. However, they didn't solve the issue. It has taken us 6 months to resolve the problem not to mention a lot of money. Since it was listed on the disclosure statement, do we have any recourse?
  • I owe a credit union in Michigan $25,000 for Visa and $175,000 for second mortgage. They wrote the balances off 12/30/2010. I continued to make payments on the mortgage thru May-2012. I have not received any communications from the credit union since then. In June 2013 I received a letter from a collection agency that states that I owe $200,000 on the 2nd mortgage and $32,000 on the visa. What are my rights? What am I obligated to pay? Does Arizona have a law that creditors are not allowed to solicit more than what they paid for a debt? Your help would be greatly appreciated. SB
  • My home has a lien placed on it from my HOA, my question is, Will the lien ever expire? Can they keep adding interest ? Can I lose my home, over 6000, which mostly are Lawyer fees, this all came about after 2 month late fees, which would be 30.00.   • My landlord has fail to fix numerous things on the house I’m renting Some of those things are hazard not only to me but my 3 kids They wouldn’t fix the AC in Summer Tim when it was 110 outside and my house was 85-90 degrees inside they sent someone out and they told me that the ac needs to be replaced they never did it. There are black bees and the regular bees coming inside the house since I moved in They have no sprayed for bugs like they said.   • We signed a year lease, Feb.2015. There was a note on our door, may 4th,2015 saying we haven't signed yet. We called the Apt. Mngr. and he looked it up on the computer and saw that we did sign a lease but the year was wrong on the lease. Instead of 2015-16 it said 2014-15 but it has our signatures and the right date of signing 2-28-15. Nobody caught that when we signed in Feb.He said to come in and resign.When we went yesterday to resign he said the rent also increased even though we were quoted the price in the lease in Feb. This seems unfair and wrong/illegal?Help appreciated.Thanks, Tom
  • So my daughters father and i where together when she was born naturally i gave her his last name. On Septemeber 29, 2015 he was arrested and charged with his 3rd domestic. There's a 2 year order of protection in place he gets visitation within that op. Due to all this id like to not change but at least hyphenate her last name can i do this?
  • Divorced for 5 months...x wife and i agreed to an dollar amount settlement for a 401k account. In the decree we agreed that "wife shall establish and disclose to husband her IRA Roll Over account within 10 days of entry of parties Consent Decree of Dissolution of Marriage". She failed to meet the within 10 day agreement. Does this put her in breach of contract? She plans on filing for enforcement of the decree? What can i do to protect myself? Doni have any legal ground to stand on? Additionally thwre are several other minor items in the agreement that she has failed to abide by. Thanks
