My ex girlfriend and I just signed a lease this February, at the end of March she got into a bad car accident and had to recover at a rehab center and then continued at her parents. She broke up with me the beginning of May and took all her things out. She said she was coming back in two weeks but I don't think she is. She didn't pay her half of the rent of June. Can I sue her for her half because both of our names are on the lease?

If the father is on the birth certificate, do I have joint custody with him, or do I full custody? I've been taking care of our child for more than 6 months now. He also has charges for domestic violence. Nothing has been taken care of through court.

We're renting a home and have 9 months left in our 12 month lease. We just found out the property foreclosed and the home sold. We've been offered money to leave in 30 days. We are protected under the Protecting Tenants in Foreclosure Act, and can stay for the duration of our lease. We are willing to leave in 60-90 days, to give us time to find another rental. If the PTFA expires on 12/31/14 are we still protected on 1/1/15? Can they give us more time but then come back on Jan. 1st and evict us? Are we protected past the expiration of the act because we signed our lease before the foreclosure?

We own an R.V. and have it parked in an R.V. park. The owners just sold the park and we would like to know if we are told to move, do they have to give written notice to vacate and how many days do we have to do so?
