Question: What is the efile code for trying to withdraw a bench warrant
Answer: A bench warrant is an arrest warrant that is ordered by a judge against a defendant in a criminal case or other type of case. In Arizona, when a criminal defendant fails to appear for court, the court can issue a bench warrant for the defendant’s arrest and order forfeiture of any posted bond. The judge is the only person who can quash (remove) a bench warrant. A bench warrant is quashed when a defendant is arrested and brought to court or when a defendant makes a motion to have the warrant quashed for some other reason and the court agrees. If you want to file a motion to quash the warrant, you probably need to select an efile code for motions. I can't advise you on which code that would be.
