Question: I have a ten year maintenance agreement with XXXXX, Inc dated 4/22/2016, for a twice a year maintenance service on my air conditioner / furnace which they installed for my home. I paid $1600.00 for this service. (This comes to $80.00 per service) and I received five services. When the sixth service was due (April 2019) I called for an appointment and their phone is shut off. I called their offices in Tucson, Pheonix and Glendale, all their phones have been shut off and the Tucson office is locked. I can't find anyone and they still owe me $1200.00 and I don't know what to do.

Question: We belong to a golf club. They offer an annual trail fee which allows us to use our personal golf cart. We paid this annual fee in June. We have decided to move out of state and requested that the unused portion of the annual fee be returned. The club manager says they do not refund any part of this fee. Is this allowable under Arizona law?

Question: Purchased 2 timeshares in late 90's, which worked well for family at the time and both are paid off in full and current with fees. Life changes, health changes, it no longer works. Have researched to find possible resolution to cancel/terminate contract and have found nothing but SCAMS! Granted, it wasn't the brightest idea to purchase but let's claim it a "lesson learned". I now am trying to educate myself on the law and it's been pretty difficult finding answers and people I can trust or those who do "timeshares". Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Question: An insurance company contacted us and informed us that our father purchased us whole life policies the year of our birth. He is not alive so we have no information on these policies. The insurance company claims that both my brother's and my policies have had two loans issued against them on the same date. They cannot provide us any documents to prove the loans that have over the last 30+ years have increased for interest and penalties to over $8500 on each policy. It is my understanding that an active contract requires documents associated must be kept. Would that be accurate?
