Im separated not yet divorced. We lived in Arizona then agreed to move to Colorado last August. While in Colorado she was verbally abusive, she cheated and at one point hit me in front of our son and daughter. I told her I no longer wanted to be with her. She took the kids back to Arizona.I only allowed this because she said she would send them to me in January, yet never did.I have emails to prove hitting&leaving agreement. Also of her saying I cant skype the kids unless I sends money, though I have been biweekly.I want custody but dont have the funds right now. Where can I start?

I am the guardian of my 2 grandchildren (their mother is my oldest daughter) she had been in a domestic violence situation with the kids dad (he is in prison until July 2016) she lives with friends, no job, possible drugs. He does drugs and has a new girlfriend pregnant. I do not want either of them to obtain children EVER. What can I do to protect the kids and myself since Arizona tends to want to reunite children and parents. This is not a good idea with either of the biological parents. I love them to much to have them suffer. Guardian since 2010, they are age 9 and 6. suggestions?

Our nephew from Denver has been ordered to take domestic violence classes. He is going to ask the court if he can come out here for a visit for a month, and he would like to continue his domestic violence classes out here while he is here. Is this possible if he gets permission from the courts in Denver?

I have a order of protection on my ex, he isn't supposed to contact me, and my address and stuff is protected. My question is, is he violating the order by going and harassing my family trying to get my address? He's telling them he needs my address, they know not to give it to him, do I file a report?

My wife has a friend she's working for about 15 years. They talk a lot after everyone leaves the office the day. About 5 months ago the woman broke down and told my wife her husband has been beating her for 20 yrs she showed my wife several bruises her stomach and told my she's afraid leave because her husband said he will kill her. I know this is how abusers keep their spouses aroun. Is there some place I can find statistics on how many abusers say this and how many actually carry it out? Also if she went the police and the courts the day he hit her and showed the bruises would he be arrested
