What are my rights while I am on parole to see my kids? I am paying child support, I work, I am responsible, I love my boys. My wife (separated) is using the boys, as her means of child support from the Welfare Agency here. I want my legal rights .

my brother is on parole, he has a job and a house and is stable. he is responsible. His wife refuses to allow him to have partial custody. He is paying regularly back child support, for when he was incarcerated. He loves his kids & wants visitation.

QUESTIONS

  • My fiance and i were in an argument and i called the cops because she pushed me several times. it was a big mistake and i wished i never called them. They came and arrested her. Now she is out and she cannot come home or call me. we have 3 kids together and are torn apart now. Is there anything we can do to get passed this huge mistake? Her trial is a month from now.
  • Was arrested Friday at 2100 hours for aggressive assault D.V. in Arizona, I live in another state. Had my pre-hearing, the victim did not show up. Was told about the infraction and what can happen and given a bond. The judge stated that after 48 hours, if the there was no filing the case would be drop. The sheet from the court states the 48 hours on the bottom of the sheet. Can the state uphold what is on the sheet from the judge's court order. And if 48 hours has gone by, is the case dropped?
  • We just found out that my sister-in-law is being physically abused by her new husband. She refuses to call the police because he says he will kill her and her family. Can we call the police and what is the likelihood he will be arrested, held and for how long? She fears he will be worse when he is released.
  • I have been married for almost 11 years with 5 children ages 7 and under. I have been a stay at home mother for almost 8 years, have been attending school full time at home for the past 3 years and have plans to continue until I've reached my doctorate, which will take approx another 5 years. I found out my husband is being unfaithful and I want a separation but he won't agree to one, so I'd like a divorce. Is there a way I can get him to leave our home we own while I'm dealing with finding an attorney and filing? He won't be happy/nice if he knows. He won't let me let me leave with the kids.
  • Can he still pick up my kids from school even tho I have a protective order
  • I have a PFA against me and there is a third party rule for no contact. If I called the plaintiffs father not to relay a message to the plaintiff but about something else is that a violation of a third party contact?
  • Can you end a lease early if the place you live is not safe? (gun shotting and domestic violence in the area) If you do end a lease early ..what is the fee there are allowed to charge you?
  • My girlfriend came to my house uninvited to pick up the kids with rage she got four domestic violence and was sent to jail that night..The cops left the children in my son's care at my home. ..she plead not guilty and she is taking this to trial with a lawyer. ..what are her chances..The four of us were the victims. What are her chances of getting off?
  • My husband recently took a plea agreement and though he was signing for disorderly conduct. Once we got the paperwork home it indicates that it is domestic violence. There is also several other items on the form that were not told by us by the prosecutor. Can we appeal? Both "victims" in this case were trying to call an ambulance, not the police. They have both written letters stating that they were never in any danger and told the police that evening when they came. Also, the defendant signed the plea just hours after leaving the hospital. We feel duped into taking this plea.
  • If a child is charged with domestic violence against a parent and the child is 16, does this stay on the childs record permately?
